Backpacking Trip - Walls of Jericho

November 14th - 15th, 2009 I took a backpacking trip with Troop 624 to The Walls of Jericho a recreational area that sits on the border of Tennessee and Alabama. We cooked a lot of freeze dried food as well as normal food like what we had, Kraft Shells and Cheese and chicken, which I cooked.
We hiked from the Tennessee trail head down to a campsite. Set up camp, then hiked out to the "Walls". Where we saw a waterfall and got to climb down into a pit that the falls had carved and then flowed under the rock.


We tried to pick up a rock...But one guy got crushed....
Just kidding.

Place: Walls of Jericho Recreation Area
Miles Hiked: 7 total - 3.5 from TN trail head to campsite
- 2.5 from campsite to AL trailhead
- 1 from Campsite to the "Walls" and back.
Nights camping: 1

Bicycle Merit Badge

I along with Brian Hedden, Eric Hedden, Bill Hedden and my Dad went on a 10 mile bike ride on September 26th, 2009. We started at the Garrison Creek rest stop on the Natchez Trace and rode 10 miles South where Rhonda Hedden picked us up. From there we drove on down to the Marshall House and looked at it.
